GIGGLES aka Marla Melendez, has been performing under the "Giggles Brand" for over twenty years. Charlie "Rock" Jimenez, Songwriter & Producer of the "Giggles" music catalog and owner of the Trademark "Giggles" has built the successful brand since the early 90s with such hits as "Love Letter", "He Said She Said" and "What goes around comes around" which won the best song of the year in 1992 at the New York Music Awards. For years, Charlie Rock booked her on many shows. Giggles has performed at Madison Square Garden, Radio City and continues to dazzle the fans today!
Producer Charlie "Rock" Jimenez, penned "Giggles" very first album back in 1992, and the first single was a Billboard Top 40 Radio smash hit "What goes around comes around". It made "Giggles" a household name in the Freestyle genre of music and immediately went on a U.S. tour performing in front of over twenty thousand people. Her Album had several hits, including the fan favorite "Love Letter" .
Producer and songwriter Charlie "Rock" Jimenez has done it again with "Giggles" latest release, "Tell Me," a Freestyle banger. It's definitely a must-have for all you Freestyle Collectors. Giggles, Marla Melendez's smooth vocals bring this new single together with a special Sexy drill mix that brings a new sound to the Freestyle genre. THE GIGGLES BRAND - Even though three other singers performed under the name "Giggles" in the early 90's, Marla Melendez is the one and only Artist performing under the brand. She is by far the best performer who brings a high-energy live show to every event and loves to mingle and take pictures with her fans. Her professionalism and experience are undeniable, and every promoter loves her style. The very first singer under the Giggles Brand "Maria Respeto" who started it all with the singles "Love Letter" & "Hot Spot" in the late 80s and early 90s had to step down due to serious health issues and unfortunately was no longer able to perform and since then has passed due to her condition. But the legacy continues to live on!
